I just started dating this guy casually and I’m really digging him. A friend of mine got back together with her boyfriend of 3 months recently. We both wanted to go on double dates with our dudes, but I was wondering when would be a good time. I was thinking about 3 months into my relationship and that I should talk to him about it first. Thanks for any answers I get!

Make sure that the other couple are really solid. Believe me here. My ex-wife and I when we were married did double date with 3 couples on 3 separate occasions. All of them broke up during dinner when we went out with them. It was at the same restaurant and it made for 3 lousy evenings.
Do it early in the relationship and if you can handle lots of PDA’s.

Just go for it when you want to. I dont really think there has to be a certain amount of time til you can. Just ask him if he wants to do it.
I don’t think there’s a specific time line that you have to follow. I think you guys should just talk to your "dudes" and set something up. Most of the time guys don’t mind double dating.

I actually think double dates are good even for beggining relationships! that way the pressure is off you and you can have fun more cause there are more people! and yes, you should definatley talk to your guy about it!
dear lord hun, who even know if you and this dude will still be together in 3 months!? double dating is not really something that you have to wait around to do, if anything it makes dates less stressful. u should just mention it to him and see how he reacts. i highly doubt that he’ll say no, because it is something that u want to do. that being said, u cant make every single date a double date because that would be awkward…
It is ok to start double dating as soon as you both agree on it and you both feel comfertable going on double dates!

I think 3 months would be a ideal time to start a double date plus on a double date you can take the focus of your gut=y and show him you have a life beyond him which men find very attractive! Good luck!
