It’s kinda sad because in those movies the girl likes the guy for who he is on the inside and the guy just likes the girl because she looks good.

The fat, ugly or nerdy guy is usually the one producing the film, so they naturally are going to pick some babe to be their co-star. Probably figure it’s the only way they’ll get to land one.
It’s because fat ugly nerdy guys wrote those movies.
Because pretty actresses in movies get paid lots of money to pretend to love fat, balding, nerdy-guys! lol
