im kinda shy and i need a way to start a convo with girls in my class. i want to get a girlfriend btw im 14 (freshman)
I’m a sophomore and I know this Freshman who seems pretty nice, but a lot of people hate her. She’s popular with the boys but not so much with the girls. She gets called a slut and told she likes to suck dick. These girls in my grade and a few juniors are wasting their time talking shit about her and calling her names. I told the junior who has the problem with the girl to stop talking shit about a freshman and to pick on someone her own size because it’s pathetic to devote your time on a girl two years younger than her. She called me pathetic for getting involved in her problem with the girl but I like the girl and I’m trying to defend her and she told me I was just trying to look cool. It’s so annoying because they were once Freshmen and they talk like the freshmen girls are pile of crap. They talked about the girl being slutty for dating a junior and how it was pathetic for juniors to date freshmen, but one of the girls dates a sophomore when she was a freshman so she’s being hypocritical. These girls won’t stop harassing the girl on Facebook and they won’t listen to me. What should I do?
Im going to be a freshman in september. I have always been a huge geek and pretty fat, but iv lost alot of weight playing football in the last year and my older sister and her friends have worked on getting me cooler (cloths, etc). But i have still never had a girlfriend. the head coach said that im the fastest on the team by far and that hes hoping ill b starting on varsity by the end of the season (wide reciever). im pretty sure that will help my chances with girls, but i still have no idea how to get girls to like me, because im not that atractive (people have sed a 4 or so) and im still a little overwieght. thanks!!

I just started high school and im a freshman.. theres this guy and after school we both happened to be in the same pizzeria. aparently he was whispering to his friend and said i "had beautiful eyes" which is weird because my eyes are a boring brown… so i was about a bloc away from said pizzeria and his friend comes up to me and tells me this and says "will u please talk to my friend? hes so shy.." so im thinking, well alright, whatever… little did I know it was the guy I thought was cute earlier that day.. he is shy, we introduced ourselves to eachother and his friends were cheering him on.. we were also a little awkward, but it was sweet.. now its been a weeek.. we have no classes except lunch together… i want to get to know him but im so intimidated.. he is so cute, and the shyness is a major plus.. hes also athletic on the football team.. i dnt want another girl to catch his attention but hes a guy and we only talked that one time. HOW CAN I APPROCH HIM AT LUNCH? I GET SO NERVOUS… I DONT WANT TO COME OFF WEIRD AND DESPERATE.. PLEASE HELP..!!
I just moved to north carolina and im new to the area and im a freshman in highschool. I try to make friends but it seems like they just want another friend. So i wonder what to do…there is this one girl, shes friendly and nice to me. But she doesnt hang out with me, which is understandable i get this part, but im wondering how to get in her good graces more and make friends with more of her group. But the main problem i think is i think she likes a more popular guy, who happens to be a total dousche, not just my opinion but several others too. So my question is how do i get her to like me and get into her circle of friends?
