Young men today are just as conflicted as anybody, due to media influence.
Often, we won’t approach a woman because we feel that we will be made fun of BY OTHER GUYS, either blatantly of just that they will be laughing in their heads.
If there were no other men around, I’d have no issue whatsoever approaching any woman. Woman are ususally approachable and nice. But I’m worried about what other men will think of me for some reason. I guess because I was teased as a kid by a few other boys.
I’m really trying to REFRAME my perspective and see it more as if I could actually INSPIRE other guys if they see me talking to an attractive woman. But deep down inside, I am still aware of how I PERCEIVE they are reacting to me.
Please tell me this is all just a load of BS and just mental noise that I need to learn to tune out.
Good, so it’s basically left-over mental chatter from when I was a kid. Good to know that it’s not real and it’s all in my head. I can face something like that and eventually it will go away once I learn to stop hearing it.
I think this is what a lot of guys are actually afraid of–themselves.
