I am assuming on a girls perspective on things they are going to say its cheating and on a guys perspective its going to not be considered cheating. I am guessing on that is going to happen but im not sure. I would think it would be cheating.

I wouldn’t consider just talking to a member of the opposite online cheating, but if he were evasive about it or were trying to hide it in some way, or if it was unclear about how he knew this person, it would give me cause to be suspicious and to further investigate. Especially if I am suspicious that he met this person on a dating site of some kind.
Cyber sex, however, I would consider cheating, because it’s an actual person that they could develop a relationship with, albeit online, that they may be tempted to seek out again for the same sort of gratification.
its not cheating. cheating is the physical touch and feelings for another.
It is technically not cheating unless you plan to meet this person. However, you may not see it as cheating and your partner might. I think you may need to clarify things with him or her before doing anymore chatting. I don’t mean to confess what you’ve done…simply just have a conversation about what cheating is to them.
Cheating to me is anything that you do in secret. Weather its cheating with someone physical or intimate conversations on the net. Its a new age of cheating.
Talking is not cheating. It is possible to have what is referred to as an "emotional affair", but that is more than just talking too.
Hmmmmmm, this is not an easy question to answer. I would say that keeping secrets from your husband could be considered as being deceitful, but, do you have to tell your husband everything? If you feel comfortable in the knowledge that you are not doing anything wrong then carry on, but, if you feel guilty about your actions then they should stop.
