I really like her, but I’ve only known her since the beginning of the month. I don’t even know if she likes me. I think we’re friends, but does it mean anything if she always says hi to me in the hallways and gives me a big smile? She laughs at my jokes, too. I have long hair, is that a turn-off? Keep in mind we’re teenagers, not adults who are going to go out on a major date and have sex.

You should talk to her more, and compliment her to show her that you like her. If you show her that your interested in her, she may start to feel the same way. And the only way you can know for sure is to just ask her. You don’t want to wait around forever to find out, do you?
Just be sweet, caring, and kind and nothing can go wrong!
Maybe you should talk to her some more, and if it feels right, make move and ask her to the movies er whatever. It depends on how long your hair is, really long, to me at least, is weird. You know the length where it touches your collar rule thing? I think thats cool, but not any longer.
