I agree. Make her laugh. But don’t be stupid about it lol. Show her you’re a nice guy (assuming you are). Show her you’re fun and interesting. If you’re less shy than her than it should be a bit easier to ask her out.

just act natural, and joke around. the best way is to make her laugh, like these people said.
I would avoid shy girls as if they have the plague. However, there are things you can do to ease the process along though.
Try to be patient
Initiate things to talk about but make sure she has something to comment on or express herself with
Try not to relate everything with her – having things in common only means you can talk to her, not much else
Try not to criticise – they are shy for a reason
Be fun and tease her very very mildly – teasing should be gentle but enough for her to react
Do not try to develop much emotional connection with this one – being emo or punk, I would gather she would have issues you wouldn’t be too keen to hear about
Try to smile and be understanding – they immediately tense up unless you do not show yourself to be a ‘threat’
Btw, if you only judge people on looks, then you may have issues yourself. People appreciate others more if they go past the looks and see the person they really are.
