Esp. in wealthy circles. A group goes to eat, how often is the bill split between the women rather the men?

Women in society are still a bit old fashioned about this, but it is becoming more accepted for them pick up the tab and they are doing so. I would say its still around the 20% mark, and situations within their respective relationships would add a margin of error of about +/- 5%.
Depends on if they have boyfriends or not. I’d guess it’s 20% of the time with a boyfriend.
That makes it about 30% away from the sought after "equality"
Half of the time in my experience, the one I eat with now never does because I won’t let her, because she always cooks….
Quite often. I try not to get too upset about money we don’t live together. I already know he had 3 grand saved and didn’t tell me. I think I will be quiet about MY money from now on. He used the money for school but I also feel like I had to buy his time this summer and that was very frustrating. The free quality time was too boring or too much work I guess.

Last Friday. Group of 6 the bill came to $167.47. I don’t have any issues with paying. I have issues with people expecting someone to pay.
The last date I was on was more 50/50. He payed for the movie and I bought the snacks.
If you are out with a group you split it by how many people are with you. If you are on a date then you take it in turns unless the person specially arranged something and wants to treat you.
My husband and I have had a joint bank account since I was 16 so whoever pays it comes from the same account.
I can’t speak for other women, but I’m one who picks up the bill probably 25% of the time. 50% of the time, I pay my share. So, all in all, it’s split pretty evenly when it comes to how I like to handle things.
I would say never MOST still expect a guy to do it even if he’s just going out as friends….

I do occasionally, but it doesn’t matter either way. We have joint accounts, so whether I use my card or he uses his the money is coming from the same account anyways.
