Most of these questions on here are for a guy calling a girl. Two nights ago, a girl randomly came up to me and asked me if I had a girlfriend, and then for my number. How long do you think she would wait to call/text me? I hope I gave her the right phone number! Haha. It happened very fast.

lol jus hang on she might call soon or text mayb she jus hav a little jitters. idont collect guys number only if i really got the hotts for them n i would wait a while dont wanna act too fast sen out an impression im obsessed or maybe she lost it or wrote the wrong number down.

She probably thought that she was too forward by doing that and is giving you some time to think about her and to actually want her to call you. The longer she keeps you waiting the more you think about why she hasn’t called, what shes doing, when she’ll call etc.
If you are cute I say a day or two but if not buddie keep waiting.
hmm do you know her very well? or is it just a random girl that asked you?
if shes a close friend, then be patient, she’ll come around. maybe between a couple days to 1/2 weeks.
if you dont know her at all, she could just be playing around and asking for a bunch of numbers. or if shes sincere, then she might be scared or thought you didnt like her (by the way you acted or something)
or maybe you just gave her the wrong number, that could always be a possibility! haha
well you should wait alittle more maybe she doesnt want to seem desperate i kno thats what i would do haha
I guess it depends on when you gave her the #. An hour ago, a week? I would think if she asked for it, she would be on it within a day or two.
Perhaps she went and got many numbers and will choose to ring one randomly. Doing things randomly is in her nature it seems. So you may not be lucky on this occasion.
well, girls usually wait 2 days after calling/texting a guy. especially girls like me. and i’m sure you gave her the rite number. lol! yeah! don’t worry she will call just give her some time. okay!
Honestly, she probably won’t. It may have been for a bet or something. In that she didn’t try to talk to you, I’m thinking it probably was.
I say this as a woman, but we’re very impulsive when it comes to stuff like this. If she doesn’t call you within 72 hours, she won’t call at all. Then again, she might find your phone number in the pocket of her coat or something in the next few weeks and, if the moment is lucky, she might give you a ring. But that’s not likely.
Write it off. If she calls, bonus. But my gut feeling says she probably won’t contact you.
That there was a really brave girl it probably took her a lot of courage to do that so give her time:)
well yeay then she is probably nearous so when she does say something freindly so she will feel more comfertable and she will text back soon like in a week or two. =)
Well.. first of all, let’s HOPE you didn’t give her the wrong number.. [then she mmight feel a bit rejected and hurt (UNLESS YOU'RE NOT CUTE)]… However, it shows that she must have had SOME interest if she came to YOU to ask for YOUR number.. Usually, i call the guy the same night.. just so he knows i have his number locked in… but, in some cases, some girls like to play by these imaginary rules where they wait a day or two or whatever.. so HECK, i really don’t KNOW

Maybe she’s shy. If she is, she’ll most likely text you first. Maybe she was asking for a friend, who knows

well if it was randomly then i don’t think there was a purpose for it. but maybe she thinking about it & all give it max of 2 days.
