you already went to ur homecoming with her, doesnt that mean shes just a little interested ? Just keep doing what ur doing. Ask her to do something fun that could make her not so shy, like bowling. Something interactive, rather than sitting in a theatre and not talking to each other for 2 hours and then an awkward car ride home with a parent.
