Oddly, being a heterosexual female, I do attract women, always have. Ex husband asked me the same question as you, for different reasons of course. And I am not "butch" but I do carry myself with confidence but I always thought they were attracted to my cue stick, (no joke intended, I used to play well) So maybe herein lies your answer, show confidence and do something well that they can admire.
