She plays a lot of sports and that’s all she talks about when were on the phone. She goes on and on and when i try to steer the conversations somewhere else she always goes back to it, unless ofcourse i’m talking about her. Should i let her know i find this frustrating? should i just put up with it? or should is there a way i can get her to do it less without bringing it up?

Yes, you have to tell her, but be gentle. When you can get in a word edgewise, work it into what you want to talk about. For example, "yeah you mentioned that yesterday, you really talk a lot about ______ ! so anyway, I was wondering…."
something like that.

you need to tell her straight up. that might be the only way since youve tried to change the conversation just be honest and let her know that you want to talk about other things as well.
or you could find someone that is more interesting and less self absorbed.

I guess the best thing to do is to let her know how you feel about it. If that doesn’t work just hang up the phone.
