Don’t make too many jokes. Some humor is good, but you don’t want to be a clown.
Once the ice is broken, ask the girl questions about her self, her life, family, past, desires, etc.
People love to talk about themselves, and if you are, or at least act, interested in them, they will automatically think you are interesting in return.

Dude, you find out the answer and let me know! I’ve been wondering the same thing. From what I can tell is that as long as they smile and giggle at your jokes, even if they’re not funny, you’re doing okay. You’re supposed to stay away from heavy topics and keep things light and funny. If they’re listening to music, talking on the phone or anything else that seems important, don’t bother. However, I’m in the same position and not very experienced. This is just what I’ve learned from my failures and from friends.
Exactly be yourself
show just a little bit of interest at first, and make some interesting suggestions. Say something like, "Well, I think you’re really pretty," or "You should have no difficulties in getting a boyfriend."
And from then on, act like you’re not interested in them anymore. It’ll drive them crazy, trying to get you to compliment them and getting you to be around them.
