How can I be less shy and learn to approach women?

Need help with women?
Here are 3 things that you must know about meeting women:
1. You must learn to act with complete and total confidence... Even if you aren't naturally confident around women, it CAN be learned, and a lot faster than you might think.
2. You must understand how women REALLY think, and what it takes to build REAL attraction Read more...
I’m starting college this fall and I need to be more open. How can I do this? I’m not an "obvious" lesbian like most. I’m femme which makes it harder and on top of that I’m shy…

cool =] im starting college this fall also…i wonder what college you are going to..
im going to fresno state. umm well shyness is really hard to get rid of.
i consider myself shy with a girl i like, however my best friend and others say that im
outgoing and loud. this may be true but when i really like you then i tend to be more quiet and shy…through email, phone, texting im more open…but in person i get nervous.
what i try to do is just be that outgoing person i usually am…and for me it’s kinda "obvious"
i am lesbian…taking in hand im not that femme. you should try to join the lgbt club or something in college…or if you know lesbian/bi friends tell them to introduce some girls to you…good luck
Small steps is the cure for shyness… I know because I went through it too. Start by small conversations with no intent for intimacy. Once you are comfortable with that the rest will all fall in place. Like everything else humans do practice makes perfect.
i think you really have to change that by making friends , have fun with them .you should fight this habit cause it can can leads to many problim and you may lose many opportunities in your life.
Ha, you and i are on the same boat =)
Anyways, what you should do is just practice to make small goals when meeting new people. Just try to spark up some small conversation and later on you’ll both be talking with interest! Plus be their friends first, its better that way. And be confident with yourself! Girls really dig confidence =)
