I like a man to be a man – like the images from medieval times but I am still waiting
I choose a man with an open heart, sensitivity & a strong mind – hard to find.
While the "alpha male" can be appealing, this is also the type of man who cheats, forgets your birthday and is domineering. This is not condusive to a healthy relationship. Both sides have to contribute to the relationship to make it work, and alpha males rarely fit the bill in this category.
So of course I’d rather be with a sensitive man who understood me over than the macho man.
Also, there is no such thing as a "alpha male who is also sensitive" if you want a man who is strong and has SOME of the alpha male qualities but not all of them, they would be called a "beta" male, but that term is not used. So.
honestly, if i want a relationship, i want someone that will understand me otherwise how could we ever resolve fights?
yet, there is something irresistable about an alpha male, i think that a man who can dominate is only good sexually not for anything long lasting.
some girls would say that they have chick friends for sensative things, give them a "man’s man" anyday.
Hmmm…thats a hard one, my husband is both. Most women would go for the alpha male becasuse thats what instinct tells them. Thats why alot of women get into abusive realtionships. I’d probably choose the alpha male, but im a follower not a leader.
The best is an alpha who is also sensitive. I was lucky enough to find one 30 years ago. I also gave birth to two sons who follow in their father’s footsteps that way. It takes a real WOMAN to understand that alphas —the good ones aren’t the dominate ones with out sensitivity. To think otherwise is a sign of immaturity….
A little of both. Personally, I think a guy who is too sensitive is a turn off but a guy who is not sensitive at all is also a problem. A man who is thorough but knows how to be sensitive at the right time is my type of guy.There should be a little bit of both qualities.
