Have changed. In some things I have gotten more lazy in others I have become more proactive, but please realize that Mr D has changed him damn self. He doesn't do half the stuff he use to do to get me, but he does enough to keep me.

I say no, but showing you that woman is pretty impossible as we don't even know the same people ;)
The thing is rather that A) people change and B) often women expect their husbands to be more responsible or loving or whatever than they were as boyfriends (e.g. when he spend a lot if time with the guys when he was the bf, she expects tp spend more time with her as he now is the husband). I am not saying it always makes sense. But that isn't tricking men into marriage.
I would say that maybe 25% at the max. trick their partners into marriage (men do that too, ya-ha - even though you might not think so)
Due to the ring question. Many women want it because of both, because its a sign of love, that they belong together and because of security as we often feel that marriage is an even stronger commitment than just being boyfriend girlfriend.
Unfortunately you seem to have made some bad experiences with women, otherwise you wouldn't have set the percentage that high, sorry.

to me a ring doesn't mean a thing, it's nice to receive a ring as a sign of love or a future marriage, but it doesn't mean you are going to get married, many things can happen before the date, lol, and doesn't mean he actually loves you, i knew of a guy who gave his lady a ring because she would always nag about it and would compare to her friends that had one, but he never had an intention of marrying her at all, he just wanted her to leave him alone about the ring, nor was he in love, just there because they were used to each other and had children and properties together, at the end they broke up.
