How do you teach this guy to be confident with girls that are attractive to him/girls that he likes.This guy is confident with girls he know, In fact he hangs around with many girls but when he talks or even stay beside girls he likes he instantly gets shy.

Since he’s talkative and confident around people he knows well, all he needs is some reassurance that talking to his crush should feel no different than the same, comfortable feeling/atmosphere he has around his friends who are girls. Once someone reassures him this, hopefully, ideally, he’ll find the courage to approach his crush & talk to her. If he still feels doubtful of talking to her, he should find something he has in common with her, so they’ll have something they both can relate to and talk about.
You can’t necessarily teach him and expect him to do what you say, but you can encourage him and let him do whatever he feels will benefit him and at his own pace. No one really learns if they don’t try it themselves!
Just point it out to him, then tell him you are gonna help fix this for him.
